Robin Thicke – “Sex Therapy”

With the onset of winter in the not-so-distant-future, it only makes sense Robin Thicke would release a song entitled “Sex Therapy.” People hate being “alone” when its cold outside and if this song is any indication, let’s just say Thicke could be shaping up for a rather warm winter (||) with his new, still currently untitled album.
Stepping outside of my normal Hip-Hop dominated world, I’ll admit I’m a sucker for good R&B. It’s a nice change of pace, to say the least. Contrary to popular belief, however, you can’t always play Pimp C when you’re in the car with your lady friend (well, you can, just try to follow what I’m saying). The other day I scooped this Polow Da Don produced track from Legend’s spot thinking it was merely an unreleased R.T. record just now seeing the light of day.
What it turned out to be was one hell of a record. It’s smooth, soulful and everything else Rob has come to encompass in his music over the years. As a fan of dude, I’ll admit this post comes with a tad bit of bias, but trust me, you’ll hear every female talking about this song on Twitter in the coming weeks.
On a side note, I wonder if Maxwell would be willing jump on the remix. Now, that’d be epic.

I always appreciate new Robin Thicke. Growing up the musically talented kids (and those who were in plays, etc.) always had to defend themselves from accusations of being sweet. If only somebody would have told a young Jonathan Blaze that dipping into his creative side would ensure a steady stream of Vitamin P and a potential career when he got older…

Man this guy is best thing to happen to hip-hop since puffy. He wrote and produced “you rock my world” for michele jackson. Hes been making music to do it to for a long time. And now all his stuff sounds like nothing u ever heard, smooth and hip. Hes a to music pioneer. I love all his stuff. check out his first albulm “beatifull World”.
Robin thicke if u dont know, is the shittttttttttt. If your trying to get laid instead of trying to inpress, then listen to his love songs. Its not a mistake that his music is so repesceted to those in the business. He’s worked with usher, michele jackson and has been the only white guy to hold on to the r n b chat for any peroid of time. Dont be fooled by whats beening played on the radio, most of his best stuff never gets any air time. I have his whole collection, and besides the times i need to really amp it up, i listen to his stuff. Most everything he does sounds so fresh and new.
