The Urban Legend mixtape is a collection of Mega B-sides, collaborations, unreleased songs and the ilk. Hopefully, it will also help open the ears to those still unaware of Cormega’s place in the game. Jim Jones just might be headed down the wrong career track. If the sales of Pray IV Reign were any indication (and the actual music itself), folks aren’t too inclined hearing Jim spit without the likes of Juelz and Cam (or Max, for that matter) propping him up by providing him up surrounding him with their ghostwritten prose guest verses. However, one area where Jim has shown considerable aptitude (besides ad-libbin’, of course) is video direction. It took me awhile to find out about Wiz Khalifa, and even longer to accept his music. Once I figured out how to pronounce his name, though, I realized I still couldn’t dig the flashiness from this relatively unheralded Steel City native, period.
