Just stumbled upon a real nice piece of music here, folks.

It’s called “Active Balanced” and this little ditty from DJ Vajra features a very poetic Portland rapper named Othello, alongside none other than TSS favorite Mayer Hawthorne and his Now On crew. Enlightened by the drawn-out organs and a 50′s-era Doo-Wop guitar riff of this soulful Terry Cole Remix, these three blue collar MCs describe the tightrope they walk between life and music with the utmost sincerity, turning out what could be an early Top 25 Most Slept-On Songs of 2009 candidate.

If you feel so inclined, balance their pockets while you’re at it.
