Having been in existence for well over a year, the CDQ of “Soldier” finally makes its online debut. While the previous incarnation had a Wayne verse, his presence is absent from this one. Instead, they opt to bring in Santigold to raise the estrogen & energy levels.
With a new album Instant Gratification, on deck, N.E.R.D. has added a new female member (Rhea) to their already expansive sound.

There’s not too much from Pharrell & Chad that I dislike. Truth be told, I can’t think of anything from them that I have not like off the top of my head. I like.
Finally a studio quality version of the song. Sadly, it doesn’t match the energy of the live versions that were released months ago.
