Lupe Fiasco - “Solar Midnite”
AUDIO By TC on October 16, 2009 at 1:53 pmI remember looking over the preliminary tracklist for the The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack and thinking how big it would be for a Hip-Hop artist’s career to land on a spot on such a notable soundtrack. Seeing that it’s the current craze amongst teenagers and further releases from said artist would most likely reach their radar.
Low and behold, the Lupester strikes gold and expands his horizons with this rock/rap hybrid appearing as an iTunes Bonus Track from the Robert Pattison Show.

Anybody got an MP3 of NKOTB: Summertime (Red One Remix)
Lupe and Mos are doing an incredible job transitioning between the genres, something I think artists like Wayne have failed miserably at so far. Fiasco can spit over ANYTHING it seems
everything about this post just screams pause, lol.
sorry, not this post, this news.

Greg Nice is on The Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack, although I doubt it did anything to further his career.
Soundtracks come dime a dozen, big movies, small movies, they are often forgotten unless they are unforgettable suites orchestrated by the likes of John Williams, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore etc etc.
I very much doubt that the young ladies over at St Trinians will be blasting Food & Liquor on Jemma’s Sony Midi Fi that her father brought for her bedroom. Before, Jemma, Alice and Britney read one or two chapters of the latest Twilight saga.
Lupe won
