I dont see it, his punchlines are mediocre at best, his flow is inconsistent and all over the place, his voice itself is so heavy on the nasal but he still sounds like a whining bitch, when he attempts multi's he completely and utterly fails. Sometimes, but only sometimes he shows us some of his witt but there's just not enough. His freestyle ability is next to zero. I mean tell me one element of mc'ing that hes good at? The production is definatly not my thing, Im definatly stuck in the production of the golden era, simple sample loops and heavy drumbeats, However his production is well composed. You defiantly dont need to have any mc credentials to make it these days, you just need tight production, cool friends and a lucky break. lil wayne is a genius in this sense, he's ugly as all fucking hell but he's broken the mainstream mold. Ill give him credit as a person and as a artist. Im not trying to take nothing away from the cat, but when I judge him as a mc I dont see any talent, at all. Yeah yeah music is all personal preference and opinion, but my opinon is based off his skills as a mc. You ask any real heads to break down his mc'ing and its going to come up as zero. There isint any argument here, as a musical artist you could put this guy in the top 1000, maybe.
