You make a valid point. But Beanie has to take a look at himself as well. How many times was he on the verge of breaking through and he gets himself thrown in jail. That does not excuse Jay-Z being his good friend not visiting and showing him the support he needed as friend; but it does explain why he doesn’t have the money he should have gotten. Plus I like the old saying Fool Me once shame on you; Fool me twice shame on me. Jay-Z has shown a ruthless approach on building the jay-z brand, how many close friends and mentors have he given the boot to acchieve his goals. As an adult you have to see this repeated behavior and say to yourself, this can easily be me. Jay-Z has to remember the people you meet on the way up are the same folks you will me on your way back down.

That whole Beans and Jay joint is different from all the other Jay disses. This wasn’t a cry for “Jay give me another chance” or ” I’m pissed that Jay didnt advance my career”. This was a call out on codes. Codes that Jay STILL claims to live by. So I think the man is valid in the calling out on the infringement of those said codes.

Any real dude knows that business is business and personal is personal. So if Sig woulda joined in on all that “feed me, feed me” chanting that went on, I would loss respect for dude. But Jay had a relationship with Sig’s mom. Jay said that they used to have dinner on Sundays. So it’s not Jay and Beans anymore, it’s Dwight and Shawn. But to not acknowledge the nig when he’s locked down (other than when you need to leverage it for your street credibility) to is an violation of character codes. Something that he should have kept in mind while explaining that part to Oprah. But Sig stayed silent.

I heard about that cops/feds thing the other day and I immediately disregarded it as Thomas’s own foolery , but hearing Sig say it actually happened. I mean c’mon man c’mon man (c) Jay.
