Fame Kills…Tours?

It’s just another day as Kanye West’s name is again associated with a shake of the head.
According to MTV News, West and Lady GaGa’s highly-touted Fame Kills Tour has been canceled for unknown reasons.
No reason was given for the cancellation. The press release stated that refunds are available at the point of purchase, and that tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically.
Rumors about the tour’s possible cancellation have been swirling for days, largely related to the negative publicity stemming from West’s interruption of Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards last month. The tour, which West abruptly announced during a television appearance during the spring and was scheduled to launch on November 10 in Phoenix, was oddly not confirmed by either of the artists’ reps until mid-September.
Shucks. I was just about to buy tickets, too.
Oh wait…no I wasn’t.

Kanye’s gonna have to make another album before he gets any more tour ideas IMO. If the negative publicity is the real reason, I think it was a good call from a business standpoint.

In my experienced opinion… the tour would have sold out regardless.

If men can be forgiven, loved, and admired (and things forgotten) when admitting to infidelity, rape allegations, stating that a certain person cares nothing about an entire race of people, and starting wars for personal agendas…
I am quite certain that a man can be forgiven for rushing the stage and making a comment.

The tour was cancelled because yeezy got a peek at Gaga’s penis and it was bigger than his
tour would have sold out easily…this is too bad.
Yeah the tour would have sold out; because Kanye and Gaga both can perform. Despite their nuttiness the both tear down the stage.
^word around the camp fire is that ticket sales were way low, and gaga pulled out(homo) saying she would like to stick with smaller venues.
I don’t know if the tour would have sold-out (and that was some of the rumor of it being cancelled). I was bouncing around some presales yesterday for the Chicago stop and had no issue getting tons of seats in the first rows. I think you have a hard time selling-out the show when you charge $250 for a ticket.

i’m glad, the girl called it a gay tour at a press conference where kanye wasn’t available, although i think he is gay, pulling out of the tur after the announcement would have been a better move…..
Although I was in the exosphere section of seating @ the Best of Both Worlds concert, I must agree it was one of the best “canceled” tours of all time!!

How sad. Lady Gaga just made it to S-N-L and it was starring w/Madonna. I found this website by a girl named Aisha which has long lists and photo comparisons that portray Madonna as a plagiarist and con-artist, people are so mean and materialistic, Madonna’s not a capitalistic wanna-be or entertainment tyrant-she’s a mother of Christ or I mean the messiah, anyway its all confusing, I’m better off not saying anything more about this controversial subject matter. I guess though Lady Gaga gets booed off stage every once in awhile, maybe she shouldn’t perform live for people who understand music and art- she should stick to the New Kids On The Block fans and nursing homes she started playing at before MTV. Anyway- that mean old Kayne doesn’t like “gays”, he would have been uncomfortable with Gaga’s new fan base. We need to be nice, these are commerical success stories here.
