While “Girls, Girls, Girls” is already in the history books for the biggest bone thrown to the Golden Age rapper (it features Biz Markie, Q-Tip & Slick Rick on the background vocals), according to XXL, allegedly there was another legend lurking underneath all that Just Blazed soul.

According to the Brooklyn rapper, Michael Jackson sang on “Girls, Girls, Girls” on the original Blueprint album. “He was on my song ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’, singing these background vocals and I didn’t even put his name on it,” Jay wrote.

O.K., you’re right.

Now even the most casual of fans have been listening to The Blueprint for a good 6+ years and nobody has stopped and said “Hey! I think I hear the King of Pop on Jigga’s record.” Of course they didn’t. Because he’s not on the damn song. Me thinks, Mike swooped through after giving the thumbs up for the “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)” (which sampled The Jackson 5′s “I Want You Back”) and probably harmonized to the coinciding track’s melody but nothing was ever laid down officially.

As celebrated as that Jackson 5 sample was, why wouldn’t he “put his name on it???” Listen for yourself.
