Game Is Going To Paint The Internet Red!

The constant need to one-up the next person has taken us from once a week freestyles to attempting to release multiple mixtapes @ once. I’ve only made it through two of the four consecutive tapes Gucci dropped a few weeks ago. Soulja Boy’s trilogy dropped today but I’m in no major rush to listen to it.
And now we have The Game’s attempt.
Shake posted the captured Tweets above, showing that the rapper has four (count’em four!) mixtapes dropping next week: Paint The Town In Red, R.E.D. October, Redprint and Red Tape. All of these before he drops The R.E.D. Album.
To quote Brother Pusha Thornton: “All these 50,000 mixtapes. With not one gem on it.”
That’s what we end up with and it’s not just specific to Game. It’s everybody following suit. Studio outtakes, weak beat-jacks, songs hindered by sample clearance issues, tracks that most likely lacked the coherent thought (read: they suck) needed to make a retail album. And now we’ll be bombarded with Jayceon’s. So, I’m sorry but there’s no way I plan to suffer through the schizophrenic behavior and endless namedrops…cuatro times over. On a recent tape, he dropped 301 names, or one for every 15 seconds. Imagine what we’ll get with four tapes.
Therefore I’m seeking volunteers in advance. Determined souls who will dutifully listen to all four and tell me the handful of songs worthy of keeping.
