Freddie Gibbs is my favorite rapper to look out for right now.
The thing with Gibbs is he just does his thing. NO politics, NO bullshit. He doesn’t cry on blogs or display his life on live streaming video for the whole world to see. He’s just about the music. SO refreshing.
I think he’s one of the shining stars rap has at this point, who also happens to be one of the few examples of how to create a following without revealing too much.
