My only beef with the movie is the fact the Cowboys served as the villains (they’re America’s team, damn it). For the purpose of Disney and the dramatic effect, however, I’ll let it slide.
With that said, movies are movies and real life is just that, real. If and when I’m blessed to have a son and he decides to play youth football, I’m praying this play is implemented in the offense. Even though it is a play you could only run once in a lifetime, it’s well worth the exclusivity (and the expression on the other parents’ faces).
Side Note: Hearing the coach act along was priceless, especially the short, yet effective “Go” at the :13 mark.

I had a love/hate relationship w/ Lil’ Giants as a young’n just because they did my Cowboys dirty in that movie.. but I’ll agree that is a great sports movie…

1. It’s called Little Giants solely cause of the oxymoron. Little Cowboys doesn’t tie into the plot of the underdog winning. And obviously, “America’s Team” will always be the team to beat.
