This past winter molested me. Chicago owned me from January to mid-April. I wept daily and kicked mounds of snow hoping that Mother Nature felt my foot on her bosom. I rocked the same pair of Timbs the whole time. And while it was awesome to feel like I looked like Ghostface circa the OG Cuban Linx, my Timbs got smelly and I looked kind of like a goober in the club.

But now I’m ready. Thanks to the good folks at Clae I’m going to be rocking some fly kicks for the rest of the year. While the whole line doesn’t quite get me excited, I’m going super gaga over the Russell shoe. They feel like Heaven on my feets and they look fresh with some jeans and a collared shirt.

Of course, I can’t do anything conventional so the two that caught my eye are the black “Limos” as I’ve come to call them and the grey wool joints. Honestly, they don’t look like much on the shelf, but after my homie sang the shoes’ praises, I decided to try them on. Trust me, you’ll want to leave the store with these in hand as soon as you give them a test drive.
