A few weeks ago I posted a Blake Kelly record and, for the most part, it received a pretty positive reaction. The song even managed to surface on a few other sites. Well, weeks later, I’m here with the entire midterm project, appropriately entitled, Higher Education. Sure, I may’ve hinted at a late August/early September release date, but who in music really sticks to their intended schedule anymore? Regardless, the tape finds Blake teaming up with two young producers out of Virginia, Ya Money and Mark Jackson, for the majority of the tape. For those currently in college, recently graduated (or not) or those who love remenicising on the good ol’ days, B-Kelz takes you on a tour of his university (Hampton U) experience which was defined by late night parties, beautiful co-eds and, of course, his favorite lady, Mary Jane.
