Jay Leno gave Kanye a chance to apologize once again after coming down from his liquid courage outburst last night. Regardless of whether it was staged or not, Leno scored a coup with this happening before the debut of his new show. My only advice for Kanye is he better put some new music to make people to forget about all this.
Nothing monumental with this performance, but I believe Rihanna’s vocals prove what I was saying… huh CJ?

Rihanna is a weak vocalist with a unique sound that gets more annoying with each single.
Notice when she performs this live she doesn’t sound nearly as powerful as on the album, and she never once hits the grunt on “RUN this town…” like she does on the album.
I’ve seen her perform this twice now. Both times no grunt. It’s something only good singers can pull off.
I never said it was auto-tune to the lengths if T-Pain… but ots used on her voice nonetheless
You can’t autotune a grunt. There’s no “grunt” plug-in.
She must have pulled it off at least once….
Every vocal has a bit of autotune applied to it – the point is normally it’s very natural sounding, and I’m by no means saying Rihanna is a great vocalist, but she performs this song live pretty much exactly how she does on record.
Anyway, I can’t get into a debate where I’m defending Rihanna, that would mean something has gone wrong in the world.
