As a PE stan, I approve Freddie’s gafflin’ of the intro beat from “Anti-Nigger Machine” and adding a twist of irony to the concept too since the n-word is heavily incorporated into his rhymes. Saying that he channels the spirit of Mister Chuck with his voice might be an understatement. Razor sharp delivery with lines that cut to the core.
Off his upcoming The Labels Tryin To Kill Me mixtape. Read the rest of this entry »
Following up our AFC preview, we’re back again with the NFL picks and now it’s the NFC’s turn. Often regarded as the inferior conference, the NFC is still packed with a couple of competitive divisions. Hell, like it or not, Brett Favre’s offseason soap opera made the NFC North worth checking for. Take a look at our NFC divisional projections and let the inevitable arguments roll in the comments. In case you missed it & don’t want to wait for Sunday’s replay on Fuse, Yardie’s got the rip split into two videos instead of the 4-8 different compiled clips I’ve seen elsewhere. The overwhelming response has been positive & most parties agree that minus a few songs that could’ve been left out (I’m looking @ you Swizz), it’s worth the time spent watching it. Respect it or check it.
The second half is below.
And if you want to skip around, check the set list :)

I just wanted a create a mini-forum for folks to share their .02 on the Answer The Call performance. If you’re like me, you probably didn’t even know you had a channel called Fuse on your cable box. Afterwards, I was almost prepared to send an extra two dollars to Comcast next month, but I’m cool. Hell, they owe me since I’ve been paying for the damn channel all this time with no idea that it existed. Read the rest of this entry »
Well this is a big burlap sack full of stupid.
Jeff Hardy, who has been one of the WWE’s biggest stars over the past year, just left the company two weeks ago for a short hiatus after one of the hottest runs with the title we’ve seen in a long time. That’s fine and dandy. Take a break. Relax. Read the rest of this entry »
For over a decade Jay-Z has been at the epicenter of Hip-Hop’s ever changing landscape. Through a combination of auspicious events and astute maneuvers, he set the pace for the genre on a mainstream level with air of affluence. Which in turn allowed him to set and break trends at will with even the slightest mention. At his peak, he released 2001′s The Blueprint; an album that made Hip-Hip take a 180° turn sonically. Unfortunately, no matter how far ahead of the curve you are, the field eventually catches up, forcing you to push further ahead or fall in line. With the release of his 11th studio album, The Blueprint 3, Jay-Z looks to stay ahead of the pack. Read the rest of this entry »
I hit up Netflix the other night and saw that Purple Rain was available for Instant Viewing. I couldn’t remember the last time I saw the flick and it’s been on my oft-ignored to do list. so I dropped it in the queue and started it up. Sure, this is Prince’s motion picture and, yes, we’ll never forget how he got Apollonia to strip a half hour into the film. But The Time arguably stole the show on stage. With jerk fever gripping the nation with fluorescent, polka-dotted fists, it’s safe to the say that the New Boyz have successfully carved a niche that has earned them recognition as well as enough dollar signs to set the standards on weekly allowance. But is it gimmick or geniality that’s got them to this far? Read the rest of this entry »
MZ made mention of the Air Flightposite II LE’s (formerly the Flightposite KG’s) a few months back. Then, all we had were fuzzy catalog pics. Today, Footlocker Unlocked released clearer pics for the first time and a release date. Read the rest of this entry »
Check out the new video from Casual Sax. This offbeat group out of Miami is at it again with an 808-induced club/car track “24′s & More.” The beat will immediately keep your attention with all the cymbals and toms and you’ll keep listening, expecting to hear something weird or ridiculous Read the rest of this entry »

How in the flying frick did I miss this one? Just now spotted at MichiganHipHop, Ann Arbor native One Be Lo’s Taco-Neck-Syndrome-inducing ode to the judicial system, “The Pigs” was a Loosie forever ago on August 27th. That’s two weeks that I could’ve been bumping the former Binary star rapping in between my man Mike Posner’s menacing hooks, over those submarine horns. Like my pops embarrassingly says at Pistons games, ‘that’s horse pucky!’ Read the rest of this entry »
Lil Wayne’s “I’m saying something super intellectual” squint never gets old especially following pure gibberish. Nevertheless, I’m glad “Behind The Music” is back because it always makes artists seem at least 5x more awesome than they already are. I actually felt proud for being a Wayne fan since Tha Block is Hot. Yeah, I said it.
It’s kind of interesting to note that they didn’t cover THE kiss. And shouts to Mr. YN who got some words in.
Update: Yardie comes through with the mp4 for download, if that kind of thing interests you.
