Yesterday I watched a movie for the first time in a long time. Thankfully, Tuesdays at Blockbuster brought on a flick I’d been wanting to see since it quietly bowed out of theaters a while back, Benny Boom’s Next Day Air. Mike Epps murders me and I’ve been a fan of Donald Faison since his award-winning performance in Trippin, so I figured it’d be two hours well spent.
When ended up happening was that I stopped it right away.
Not because it was a bad movie (which is wasn’t), but because of the intro. After the DVD was suited and booted, I sparked up and hit play, only to be punched in the face with a bassline so funktacular I immediately had to halt everything. I set down my apparatus, picked up the remote and hit pause, then got up and wrote down the crumpled piece of gibberish above.
If you can’t tell, it says ‘TSS,’ with something that looks more like the Springfield Isotopes logo than a star underneath. It’s followed by the grammatically-incorrect – but still thankfully legible – phrase, ‘Song from “Next Day Air” intro —-> Latin Bassline.’
Aside from letting you know I use notes to make up for lost brain cells, this post is intended to remind all of you that the TSS Crew is constantly thinking about the well-being of you and your iTunes. Even when we’re trying to kick back and enjoy some downtime. Keep that in mind when you’re cruising around to Martin Buscaglia‘s overwhelmingly dope Latino heat in your low-low or ’97 Ford Taurus.
Trust me, you’re in for a real treat. I don’t stop movies cold for any old song.

Award winning… Hahahahahahaa
Trippin is like the only 90s crackpot film I haven’t seen. I keep saying I’ma get around to it…
@ TC…
Trippin is one of my all-time favorite bad comedies. The grandpa in that movie fucking slays me.

Surprised you didn’t go into detail on how bad the movie was.
The funky Latin bassline > the movie.
