Damn, I hate to see this.

While people were focusing on the more outrageous parts about the Lil’ Boosie 15 Minutes interview from a couple of weeks ago, these words from Boosie are the ones that stuck with me:

“I think about [going to jail] ever night. I got enough music so if I go in for three or six months I got enough music to last me. I got a Beatles catalogue. My music will take me a long way.”

Still, I could hear in his voice he was worried about what would happen if he had to go to jail. Unfortunately, now he has to see if his music can last him two years. What’s so sad is that Boosie was finally getting it. He was finding his comfort zone musically and hadn’t had any health problems in a while.

Now, he sees another major setback. I can only imagine that while he’s away, the Gulf Coast will continue to hold him down, bumping his mixtapes and albums that made him a legend while waiting patiently for the day he’s out.
