I just wanted a create a mini-forum for folks to share their .02 on the Answer The Call performance. If you’re like me, you probably didn’t even know you had a channel called Fuse on your cable box. Afterwards, I was almost prepared to send an extra two dollars to Comcast next month, but I’m cool. Hell, they owe me since I’ve been paying for the damn channel all this time with no idea that it existed. Thank God though because there was no way I was watching a stream.
Depending on how the NFL games look, I may watch the replay on Sunday. My Titans already played so, NBC, bring your A-game if you want my Nielsen rating points.

I think I’ll tune into the VMA’s just to see what he & A.Keys do.
What a show… almost as good as the Fade to Black tour at the MSG, almost…
I don’t think many of us new Fuse existed.
I’m glad they aired it commercial free and I appreciate seeing it at all cause I would have never streamed it but I dont get why they try to edit a Jay concert. I mean its a cable channel was that really necessary?
that concert was amazing. the power on that stage of jay and kanye and diddy and beyonce and mary and a.keys and pharrell. plus swizz, santigold, bleek, and cudi held their own. a fun fun night to behold.
and for you guys who didnt know fuse existed, look out for fuse more often. past few wednesdays they have been showing the Beef series. and they show videos all the time. hip hop, rock, pop. this channel will be your new best friend when you need a music channel who actually plays music 95% of the time. and even the other 5% they show shows and movies based on music. ive watched a range of things from empire records to juice on fuse.
didnt fuse used to be called much? it was a canadian based channel i think back in the day…
i may be wrong.
Fuse is a good channel way better than MTV, but yeah that concert was good wish Amil could of came out :-/
he should have brought out sauce money.
Jay must have had to let Swizz rock in exchange for Alicia. That song lost me. Should have rocked a classic instead but great show. Dude does have a gang a hits. You know Bleek still goes to war for Hov. “Even if I die, he’s in my will some where.” Gotta respect that!! That dude in the bow tie was hilarious. No wonder folks on Twitter were talking about the milkman. HAHAHA.
Jay did a good thing by donating the proceeds from tonight’s concert to a good charity: the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Fund. Of course he benefitted from the publicity, but what other rapper would do what Jay did tonight? He realizes the leverage he has, & makes sure he goes into win/win situations. Any other rapper in Jay-Z’s position would squander their opportunities on frivolous purchases & endeavors. Can’t hate on Jay for making chess moves…
swizz beats and jay are all buddy buddy now cause they got something in common.
power couples.
swizz keyz/alicia beatz
jayonce
Haven’t watched the show yet,… but I TiVo’d it. I’ll check it out tomorrow afternoon. With all these positive comments, I’m looking forward to seeing it.
Wait for the tv rip
am more that half way through this, and i must say it’s good but for me his fade 2 black tour >>>>this…probably shouldn’t compare but it’s jay and it is what it is…
mary looked and sounded great…her dancing>>>
john mayer done his thing….
@Gotty™ when you say rihanna>>beyonce…what we talkin’ about © Jay…AWW..lol
need to rewatch that, need a link for the whole concert soon…
Does anybody else feel like the guitar in D.O.A. is a lot more bearable live with John Mayer? I was way more into that song in the live than I ever was listening to the actual track.
BTW…dope concert. Can’t imagine how much better it must’ve been in person. Props to Jay for not doing any songs with guest-stars unless the guest-star was actually THERE.
Would love to have an avi of this or something.
BTW….Mary J’s dancing = gas face. If you wanna dance don’t come out wearing the dominatrix outfit for hood rats or whatever that ish was. Actually, nobody had the dancing right in the concert but the songs were so cold I ain’t really mind it.
SageShini = That was the throwback MaryJ.. straight off the My Life cover shoot…
Concert was ill going to have to see if it’s on ninjavideo…

Last nights concert was good, Fade to Black was great but The Reasonable Doubt anniversary show at Radio City was and probably will always be my favorite Jay show.
