ghostface is my fav rapper but im not feeling this new album at all
Sorry but this set is a faux pass on Ghostface’s part. He might be the Wizard of Poetry, but there is only one Wizard of Pawtry.

Watch how rap dudes gonna try to trendhump on this R&B idea Ghostdini got. The album sound dope tho. The John Legend joint gonna be in heavy rotation!
That T-Pain app is gonna blow up son.
From the title to the cover to the concept.
Horrible.
“Baby” is a banger tho, auto-tune & all.
It’s hard to pass judgment yet, but I’m kinda feeling this. We’ll see if he can maintain it for a whole album, though.
I mean, this is not how I want my GFK (pause). I haven’t heard the sampler. I’ll wait to yay or nay it when I hear it as a whole.
Feelin’ this John Legend joint… but everything else i’ve heard, not sure… None the less, props to Ghost for not being the same ol’ rapper
I’m already not feeling the album, but at least OB4CL2 lived up to my expectations.

(in near-silent prayer): “Please God, don’t let Ghost ruin his discography.”
If someone says that he already ruined it with Bulletproof Wallets or The Pretty Toney album- You need your ears cut off, word to Reservoir Dogs.
Has Ghostface recorded this set in order to fulfill his contract obligation with Def Jam, before he exits?
Honestly, the sampler is woeful, it’s as if Ghostface tried to concoct a fusion between Barry White and Sgt Pepper, instead it sounds like we are getting Stevie B meets Winger.
I also don’t deem it creative that he is merely spitting over the ZAPP beat, that’s just lazy.
At most this should have been a mixtape. His last 3 albums have been some what middling, and he really needs to get back on point and deliver a decent listening experience. Stream lined and filler free.
Stapleton Sex? A’yo, A’yo, I’ll fuckin, I’ll fuckin, staple your nutsack to your grandma’s kitchen table and then smash your nuts with a rolling pin, like POW! POW! POW! Then throw the table with you still attached to it out the 7th Storey window. How you like them apples?
The Wizard of Poetry is an album that would probably appeal to employees of JT Marlin.
In the mean time, bring back that real Wu-Tang ish!
Baby is a banger; he should have left the album cover at Master P’s house where he found it. lol
his last album on a major label like defjam
so a concept album, nice soulful joints
maybe he’ll have a betta radio/tv support for these joints…
…that’s it. he wanted to do that, now it’s done. next year,
ghost’s street rap ish’s comeback, no doubt.
@ Jesse H. I feel you. Ghost probably has the nicest discography of out there. I can’t think of another MC with 5 albums or more with a more impressive one. That’s another topic of discussion the wonderful people at TSS should put out. Anyway, I feel this is just an extension of Ghost. Dude has always went against the grain and this album is no different. By no means do i feel he’s getting soft on us or anything like that. It’s just him bringing something else to the game. It’s yet to be done so dope or not he’s setting a trend in itself. Ghost will forever be that dude
