“Slammed…” - Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy Arrested For Drug Trafficking
Everything Else By David D. on September 11, 2009 at 9:16 pmWell this is a big burlap sack full of stupid.
Jeff Hardy, who has been one of the WWE’s biggest stars over the past year, just left the company two weeks ago for a short hiatus after one of the hottest runs with the title we’ve seen in a long time. That’s fine and dandy. Take a break. Relax.
But don’t - I repeat - don’t get caught with 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Soma pills and 55 milliliters of anabolic steroids. Police searched his house and found all of these drugs, traces of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and arrested Jeff for felony drug trafficking.
This is all alleged and all that.
To add insult to injury, Jeff’s final storyline in the company surrounded a feud with C. M. Punk (the bad guy) in which Punk went on television and trashed Hardy as a drug addict and failure because he already was hit with two drug violations from the WWE. And while Punk made these claims, children painted up in Jeff Hardy gear and face paint booed and screamed that their favorite wrestler was a changed man.
I’m going to sleep well tonight knowing those little brats got their dreams shattered.
Hey parents, good luck explaining this one to your kids.

haha…props David on the wrestling write up! Any pro wrestling fans out here on teh TSS?
I’m a big fan (stan) of CM Punk…ever since his days in the super-indy fed, Ring of Honor! Was getting redundant of seeing Punk as a face al the time….Punk is waaaaay better as a heel and it’s showing, specially since heels always work the best when there really is some truth to what they say (i.e what Punk said about Hardy all summer long).
I went from a fan to a stan of Jeff Hardy as well this past summer…since he helped ut over Punk as a legit main-eventer. However, this is some serious shit right here…idk if I could root for a guy that would risk his future career over something like this.
*gives Jeff the dunce cap*
What really happened that night 7 years ago for MTV’s Video Music Awards.
Was Michael really full of himself? Did Sony conspire with Music Television to embarrass Michael Jackson? Was it all just a big misunderstanding? Or was MTV reluctant to give Mr. Jackson his trophy? Read on and decide for yourself…

Did MTV Conspire Against Michael Jackson?
Wrestling on TSS that doesn’t involve Ric Flair?
TSS is Major!
David could grow to be a color commentator for WWE. If y’all only knew lol.
Y’all should listen to him with Emillio Sparks every Tuesday night. It’s sickening

This really is no surprise if you’ve followed Matt and Jeff’s career. Those TLC matches were for real. Kid’s gotta escape reality, man. His whole body must hate existence.
fam, I’m petitioning to write scripts for them. Someone put a word in for me
man……first off PSA, i’m an old wrestling mark, but lately it has been worth watching (other than MVP & Jericho, i love the understated stuck up asshole move in charecter). Jeff was an eyelash away from being done, he threw turds at his demise. This man is quite possibly the dumbest person on the planet. He has been World Champ, I understand you get hurt, but if you abuse, get enough for yourself, don’t be a dealer. He doesn’t deserve to be in the WWE ring EVER again, and i don’ think Vince will cave. THEY SHOULD HAVE NEVER DROPPED KEN KENNEDY……KENNEDY!!!
oh well, now we know why he couldn’t cut a promo, the soma had been slurring his speech.
right now on Raw: Kofi Kingston, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Carlito, Evan Bourne, Jericho, Jack Swagger & Santnio Marello are great, but they keep the ball in Cena, Orton (who needs a TON of work), & Triple H’s hands TOO MUCH. I like Shawn Micheals, he gives back to the biz what it gave to him, Triple have just looted the young talent. Great worker, don’t get me wrong, but needs to stand back and elevate some young guys. He got the daughter, what else does he need? He will never be Flair.
I don’t have Smackdown on TV in my town, catch it when i can, but they seem to be putting out a better product.
LMAO @ Tatanka
Man, I’m FULLY convinced that I know who posts up links under aliases related to the write-up
I’m dying over here
I didn’t even notice Tatanka. Haven’t heard that name in forever lmao
Judge gonna take one look at Jeff Hardy and knock it down from drug trafficking to Possession… “Your Honor that’s all for personal use!” LOL
@veego - you going in? lol - the debate on wrestling companies not pushing fresh talent, for the future, has plagued companies for years. it’s part of the demise of the WCW (aside from overspending and crap booking) - Paul Heyman had a post on his blog breaking this down, check it out: http://heymanhustle.craveonline.com/blogs/21208-paul-heyman-wwe-and-tna-fail-the-future
I also have been getting into reading wrestling books. The best ones I’ve read so far are the following:
The Death of WCW: http://www.zshare.net/download/6546869039eaad0e/
HITMAN (Bret Hart’s autobio): http://www.zshare.net/download/64267546c205e673/
I actually paid for Bret’s book, but it was an Adobe Digital Editions copy, so I had to unlock that .pdf. Best autobio I’ve read in a while, and one of the best books about the wrestling business, ever. Be prepared - the buildup to the Montreal Screwjob > the aftermath.
Anyone talking wrestling, get at me.
and yes, program-wise, SmackDown is superior to RAW. It’s as if RAW is the usual “soap opera” style stuff, with some decent matches thrown in (oddly, some of the best matches have been Orton vs Dibiase Jr, Orton vs Rhodes, and anything Jericho touches); SmackDown has its dumb points at times, but with guys like the Hardys and CM Punk running wild, its been a great product. Mysterio/Morrison for the IC title was a great match, too.
Cats like Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston (fake jamaican) have the athletic ability to be some good babyface characters, but they get buried - Kofi was US champ but didn’t have a match at fucking SUMMERSLAM, a show the WWE admittedly said they were going to be trying to make as one of their higher-caliber PPVs.
The Hart Foundation (David Harry Smith, Natalya Neidhart and the other one) are doing good things, too, but aren’t being used right.
khaldub@gmail.com / twitter.com/khal if you tryna talk wrestling lol
GANGSTA!!!!
drug trafficking? jail time?
he qualifies to drop a rap album now.
if i had a record label, i’d sign jeff hardy right now.
Dirk Digahoe
i am so disiponted in jeff hardy wtf he was my fav wwe superstar all thous drugs f*** you up give him the full sentice
