*Golf clap*
Let us all applaud because it is always good to see men set aside their differences and move on with their lives. Now, if Dark Man X could just call a truce between himself & the voices in his head that keep leading him to the pipe & other forms of fuckery.

aww shit. does this mean I don’t have to hold my breath any longer for the Murdergram reunion?
lol @ The Camel holding a bat. He’s too good for that now. I bet he’d like to take that bat upside Lil Mama’s fo’head tho
*slow claps*
Bravo. I didn’t even know this “feud” was still going on.
^^^ have to agree you can file this under “who really cares”
two rappers who have lost relevancy have finally squashed a beef that no one really remembers/cares.
off topic: are there any of ya’ll that watch that ‘housewives of atl’ coonery?
i’ve never seen that pic before, kinda dope, that CD could have been classic. oh well.
Teef’s right, Jay holding that bat is hilarious.
Wow, an end to a beef between two artists who haven’t been relevant since 2003.
It’s from a magazine ad if I remember. It was in two parts, the first being a shot from the front with the three of them mean muggin, and then you turned the page to this…
RMF…
One of the great pics in hiphop history. Not that celebrating thuggery is noble, but the way it was shot just really helped brand these cats.
it was actually a magazine cover – i still have it actually. The front shot is these 3 scowling in leather and the inner fold shows the back to reveal the chain, the bat and the “whatever the hell weaponlikestick Ja is holding”.
It’s funny because prior to this pic nobody in hiphop really saw jay as a hoodlum. Drug dealer? yeah, but tough guy? Nah. And at the time you had X who was pretty much crazy street dude and ja still had a little hood vibe going and wasn’t quite so pop-ish yet; so Jay road that to give him that extra bit of grime.
And yeah, Murdergram was supposedly gonna drop within a few months but all three got so hot so quick that the label greed and egos prevented the album/group from ever poppin off.
Could’ve been a nice one off album a la PowerStation.
^ back when XXL was still hot, before they were in bed with Jimmy Iovine
whoa, did somebody not know that picture? I’m calling Kris Parker.
^ back in his senior year of college, Gotty cut that pic out & put it up on his dorm room wall, right next to a picture of Naomi Campbell
Neither one is really doing anything, mine as well end a 10 year beef.
I didn’t think they were still beefin after all this time so that’s cool.
Still this news reminds of the time when DMX aired Ja Rule out. His hairdresser or somebody allegedly converted him to the wrong team. Hearing X scream about that was mad funny.
^^^
Exactly.
They’re both so irrelevant, their ego’s have been deflated enough to allow a truce to happen.
Jay & X’s egos killed Murder Inc. (The Group).
Nowadays, you prolly couldn’t get these three to be in the same room together.

If I had Jay-Z money, I wouldn’t wanna be near these two either.
I haven’t seen this pic in years. Lol, on some str8 random ish, I spoke to DMX on the phone. I have no clue how it happened, but my frat brother just so happened to be in the same Chicago bar he was in.
Dude is as animated as he appears. I didn’t get a chance to ask him about Ja, however. He kept thanking me for being a fan of his music.
yea it is a who cares moment but…
god damn i remember the murdergram record an that XXL cover these dudes coulda made a historic effort in hip hop if they had jus gave us a 6 song EP or sumthin
I heard Gotty, eskay & YN took a pic similar to this in Austin.

Good for you, good for you…
