Now take a look at any pop icon outside of hip-hop music. Or any celebrity. All of them fit the same ‘ish. Is DMX out of his mind for pulling people over at an airport and pretending to be an FBI agent? Or causing a ruckus at Tent City in PHX for talking smack to a guard… sure, he’s definitely something. But at the very least, he’s entertaining. And in the root of his entertainment, you’re witnessing an honest man *gasp*, tell it like it is in hip-hop. No doubt DMX is highly medicated and fucked up. But who cares? Most, if not all of you get fucked up on the weekends. This man does it and still pumps out music. Give him some slack. Over half the industry has a drug problem. Weed is ok and supported but X and his coke addiction is somehow the downfall of his career? His last couple of albums still went platinum in a declining industry. His market is there.

Now I’ll rescind all of this if he gets arrested for intent to distribute with ten kilo’s of Bolivia’s finest in his rented Buick with stolen Arizona plates, but until that happens, I wanna hear what this man has to say.
