I happened to be watching this game & the catch was marvelous. Yes, marvelous as the capper to a good game & amazing in that very moment. But not marvelous enough to warrant “Immaculate Deflection” status that’s been thrust upon it. If we’re talking Week One plays, Polamalu’s one-handed interception was equally as impressive if not more. Furthermore, Stokley’s play came against the Bengals so does it really count?
Yet, this Tecmo rendition is greatness. And here’s the OG for reference.

Their D got outcoached moreso than outplayed yesterday. They couldn’t find a way to get to the QB & made dude look like a fuckin star. Normally, it’s our D that holds it down and the O lacks. Yesterday, role reversal b/c the O put up 30pts. Can’t really fault them.

LOL. Lendale isn’t my #1 RB. I had him in there because last season Chris Johnson usually racked up a bulk of the yards but Lendale would punch it in and scoop up the TD points. I’m not even sure dude has scored this season though.
Lendale needs to start hitting the PAT-Ron again. I enjoyed the fact that the Giants spoiled Jerry Jones’s opening night. I am was pleasantly surprised that his plastic face could still convey saddness. lol

I’ll take 1-1 for what it’s worth. Titans and Ravens D has looked less than impressive. I hope they get their shit together. Well mostly I hope the Ravens get their shit together, but I’ll throw Gotty and the like a bone and root for a reinvigorated defense in Tennessee.
