You’ve heard about the off-the-record comment but have you heard the off-the-record comment? You have now. And this goes against all the codes of journalistic integrity thanks to Terry Moran’s Twitter, but hey, even Kanye himself can’t be mad at the snub. In all honesty, he can name his next album Jackass and get the amount of publicity as he is now.

Here’s the statement ABC conjured up in regards to the matter:

In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.

Congrats to Yeezy. You will forever be the Democratic mascot stamped with the official Presidential seal.
