1. I need to pull out Gone Fishing again. That mixtape is pure fire and is made for driving with the windows all the down, playing it as loud as you can tolerate.
2. I need to go back to Chicago. Harold’s, Giordanos, Pancake House & Nordstrom Rack are all calling my name. I definitely need to make it to Leaders next time around as well. Let me call my lil’ sis up…

Don’t know if I’m sold on The Cool Kids, but this was decent. I’ll have to dig up that Gone Fishing tape (link’s down). It could be the summertime Chi backdrop though, because I’m in love with that city.
There is nothing like driving down Lake Shore Drive any time of the day bumping Gone Fishing. My personal favorite of all the mixtapes dropped this year.
TCK are dope. I’m not sure if they necessarily need to do anything to their lyrics because simplicity is what their beats and rhymes have been about from the jump. I can honestly say they can keep it simple, and be themselves without being wack… they’ve never claimed to be the best rappers alive.
I’m gonna revisit Gone Fishing on the way to work in the morning.

For real man, these dudes in this video really look suspect. Not trashin the cool kids but i only got 30 seconds into this. Put somethin real up on there like some skateboarding. Not rollerbladers spinning cameras on their fingers.
