Watch this video and appreciate the greatness. There’s not much more I can say about Cory’s lyrical ferocity. And he shows it again in this video with an apeshit freestyle.
While I’d like to focus on the freestyle, I can’t help but point your attention to Shaq’s shirt. Is that a Polo? A horse on the left side of his shirt? Nope. It’s Shaq. Yes, it looks like Shaq’s clothing company is making polos. If your name is not Shaquille and you own these shirts, I have some nice oceanfront property in Iowa I want to sell you.
But back to the lecture at hand.
Cory, I’m doing a Raindance for you buddy. I hope this Gangsta Grillz tape will be the thing to get you over the hump. It just seems like this tape is never coming out. What’s the deal? This has taken longer than most albums to crank out.

Northside you hit it on the head; Gunz can freestyle all day. But can he craft a song, I don’t think so. Hopefully he can prove us wrong.

Not to take away from Gunz’s shine, but I like the fact Maino was there supporting him. Maino may not have won many new fans with his first/last album (even though I thought it was conceptually brilliant), but at least he is supporting NY artists. I like the unity and respect that is happening with artists supporting artists. It makes me excited about hip-hop again.

This is the kind of freestyle, if you can call it that and not crazed nonsensical rambling, I hate. I can’t stomach any of his freestyles let alone an entire 80 minute cd of it!
