Big-name actors have a history of going overseas to Asia to hawk corny products for a quick paycheck. So much so, in fact, that back in the day when it still offered some semblance of worthwhile humor, Entourage dedicated an episode to faux actor Vinnie Chase doing promo for a soft drink in the most ridiculous of ads. But when Mr. Jolie decides to do it, best believe that the selective actor proves he can do little wrong.
Going by his recent film credits (Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, Fincher’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, the Coen Brothers’ Burn After Reading), Pitt would be sure to invest his time in a project being dealt with capable hands—in this case, the one and only Spike Jonze. The noted auteur is one of the few individuals who can do a justice to a broad spectrum of work, lending his talents to the likes of Jackass, Fatboy Slim, and the upcoming Where The Wild Things Are film. And now, he’s conquered the once surefire comical (in a bad way) foreign TV spot (in a good way), as well.

Personally I don’t think that Mr. Handsome has received enough accolades for his humanitarian efforts. In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don’t think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.
What’s with unkempt beard? First it was prep for another Tarantino film, now it’s Angie likes it huh… a deep seated conspiracy … keep them femmes away, no?
