Instead of the normal bickering and love triangles Illseed usually shares over in AHH’s rumor mill, recently he acknowledged a mishap I’m extremely surprised no one else noticed yet.
Seems as if Boi-1da, the prodcuer behind Drake’s four-headed monster “Forever,” had previously given the same beat/hook combo to Kardinal Offshall, for his 2008 collabo with Rock City, “Bring It Back.” Actually, upon researching Kardi’s song, the production credit goes to Konvict Music, whatever that means. Either way, someone botched this one up big time, because when you’ve got a record with Em, Yeezy, Drake and Wayne on it (which is featured on a goddamn Lebron James movie)…definitive licensing rights are a must.
Aside, October’s Very Own dropped the final, mastered version of “Forever” for the masses last night. Update your records.

I wonder which came first.
Either way… a little sad.
Bring It Back > Forever > I Want This Forever

^ David says Drake stole his flow from there.
a little history on drake vs. kardi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lY5Q1SvUus
yeah drake’s flow is basically big seans there lol but other people were doing that style as well like kanye and lil wayne
All of them are boring.
Kardinals version has the better chorus, second part at least since first is the same. Drake sounds better but whatever, this is something to laugh about
in the end….it doesn’t matter….
Drake wins in the end while Kardinal stays in obscurity.
