The Paxtons - “Still Waiting”

If you didn’t download Work, this one probably went unnoticed. While I think the singing cat “overdid it” on his part of the track (leave the extra harmonizing & ad-libbing to K-Ci & Jo-Jo), Chris & Dave do the damn thing with their verses, paying homage to their Midwestern roots by adopting the fast-paced flow the region is known for. And what these two do with their production — edging in little nuances to enhance the sound of every song — without a budget makes me really wonder what they could do with one.

Shouts to Oscar! He did his thing on the hook. However, that is not him at the end. That’s one of our team members acting a fool for comedic relief.
I don’t think he knew Chris was recording him while he was “doing his thing” on the track. We thought it was so funny, that it needed to make the mastered version of the song.
