Even as nothing more than a lowly lackey to Mr. John Gotty™, my inbox still gets flooded with new material on the reg. So, inevitably, a few things descend to backlog oblivion.

Luckily for me (and you, of course), my man Greg Bates has been persistent in pushing me towards the remarkable Canadian DJ, Skratch Bastid. Not only is his latest mixtape 110% comprehensive whip material, but the visuals accompanying the mix, covers of James Brown and DJ Khaled, respectively, just leave me in awe of the blend-master’s multi-tasking efforts.

Along with peeping the two performances and unreal interlude way up top, do the man a solid and download/donate. Or, just one of the two.
