A few weeks ago I was picking up my shirts for work from the dry cleaners and was greeted by the cashier as “Mr. MZ.”

Before I was even all the way through the door! Those words hit hard, because she was my grandmothers age and I had frequented the place enough to not just be a random patron anymore.  As much as it doesn’t always register, I’m an adult.

After hearing this song off Mick’s upcoming Re-Living Thing, it made me remember why I still buy Nike’s even though I wear Allen Edmonds 85% of the time. Why I still have a PS3 even though weeks and months can pass between I actually play a game. And why TSS and Hip-Hop are still mainstays in my daily routine.

Because they make me happy.
