Fabolous Loso's Way Flow Chart

By now, you may have seen the cinematic gem that is Loso’s Way. Was it worth the viewing? Of course not. But while some folks were able to watch it from the comforts of their computer screen (and thus with the ability to fast forward and close tab) TSS staffer Jesse Hagen and I were not as fortunate. Prior to the album’s release, a number of industry types (TSS credentials mean we qualify) were given a chance to screen the movie at the Helen Mills Theater in NYC. Not for nothing, the open bar sure was nice.

After we sat through the flick, Fab was there for a Q&A session. Naturally, we had a few questions about his filmmaking process. However, the rest of the industry types were busy asking heavyweight questions, so while Fab never got around to answering our questions, we thankfully got to hear his answer to such thought-provoking questions as “When are you coming to Penn State?”

During the Q&A, Loso’s demeanor was languid—very much his staple. Such a personality was never meant for the silver screen, let alone that of an iPod Touch. My guess is someone else put him up to this. And that someone probably counts Killa Season among their favorites.

Obviously, that left us curious but with no factual information to back up our imagination (something we’re used to). Ultimately, we decided to map out the thought process behind Loso’s Way. What you see above is what probably happened in order for the film gem to come to fruition.
