Boosie makes me wanna go sniff an eighth. The weathered, almost sore look to his eyes lets me know he knows about catching a drain.

Oh, the song? Bottom-heavy is the beat, marching band-style.The lyrics? Realism & grittiness that can’t be manufactured. Only manifested through words & felt if you relate. And on this ode to times past, he manages to share hood tales that should win a few more fans while entertaining those already on board. Give a hat tip to Motion Family as well (the same crew who shot Pill’s “Trap Goin’ Ham”) for deftly exposing Baton Rouge through Boosie’s eyes..

Superbad drops on 9.15. So while you’re clamoring for this & that, I’m looking forward to the next installment in Boosie’s discography.
