For those “hatin” on the last Timbaland track, I’m sure this is more of your steez.
Sometimes even the greats gotta jog the bloggers memories.

it wasnt me rufus!
http://preferredclassics.com
I will NOT give in and listen. Must wait until entire album drops. Call me the poster child of patience.
J-Tinsely got the 94 album wrap fever. me too! i heard the song already though but i promise i didnt listen to the words
im holding out too fam.
Jay-Z is a testament to the fact that a rapper makes the track. Cuz I was about to stop listening to that garbage ass beat until he started rappin
Jay spittin…thank you. He was scaring me little bit. Hook is kinda weak, beat ain’t up to Tim’s standards, but I think I’ll like it a bit more when I ain’t listening on computer speakers. Jay went in though, that’s all I needed.
Didnt’ jay take a trip to England to personally hand over the album or some shit so this wouldn’t happen?
Hov!
Shit bumps!!!
I’m covering my ears as well. eff it.
Holy Shit Timbaland sucks!
The leak has sprung. Mark my words, by tomorrow, the whole album will be ready for downloadable consumption.
Maybe even sooner.
hope that
Mars vs Venus
iz a banger as well !
The last 16 are the best on the track. The first and second had me boppin’ but it wasn’t Classic J. The last was raw.
I started to lose faith in Timbo on the drake/hov track but this is a lot better.
we are witnessing the end of an era…SMH
David D. Says:
Didnt’ jay take a trip to England to personally hand over the album or some shit so this wouldn’t happen?
^yeah but every producers is supposed also have their songs too !
This is another weak track – the beat has none of Timbo’s signature creative spark – it’s just….uninspired and very plodding.
Jay doesn’t say anything here, or certainly nothing I haven’t heard him say a million times before more interestingly.
Never thought I’d say this but maybe he really should think about calling it a day.
Don’t download Jay’s album its a trap! He is supposed to hand deliver it to the studio or whatever. Leave his album be. He is too invested in it. He means too much to hip hop. Go buy the album on 9/11 people. “You left your fingerprint you ain’t got to be there”
now i will really think that dez timbo’s beats Was picked by jigga for the cohesiveness of (t)his album. real cohesion / chemistry with da kanye’s beats on the whole album ? maybe that’s the reason, for the non typical ufo beats from tim on it ? i hope so
BP3 = BP2 Part Deux
I’m not impressed with either Timbaland track, though this one sucks just that much less then the Drake jawn.
Hopefully my expectations are being lowered for me to be blown away by the rest of the disc…but I seriously doubt it.
I refuse to listen to anything else till the album lea…er…drops.
did anyone else catch the buddens shot jay threw in the last verse?
BP3 = Kingdom Come Pt. 2
@dave
it wasnt that subliminal.
BP3 = Kingdom Come Pt. 2
========================
Nah. I actually like KC. Kinda. It wasn’t as blatant a reach as BP2 IMO.
At least Just Blaze is lacing Jay Elec with his beats…
Its a return to that bitter old man steeze from BP2.
“^!&&@s lookin like Larry holmes, Flabby and sick.”
Average Joes need to Budden up.
Sounds less like a dis and more like good advice.
It’s all to the good. I won’t listen to any more though. This as well as the Raekwon track that was produced by Dre. Just gotta hold on.
wasn’t bad at all but i am now confused about the albums direction. and i thought this was gonna be jigga what pt 2….dammit. why didn’t tim save “elevator” for jay? i think its the best song flo-rida’s ever done (which aint saying much) but i can’t help but think what jay couldve done to a beat like that
Pure weak sauce!!! He is not saying a damn thing we already don’t know on this track! As a Jay Z fan I’m very disappointed already in the 2 Timberland tracks. No chemistry what so ever on this album between and Shawn C. Carter and Timothy Z. Mosley!
There is Hope
Better than the leak that sprung yesterday…
…but still another not-so-classic from “Rockport” the beatmaker.
^ There is just no “Wow” in any of these tracks like there was for “D.O.A.”
On the real, EVERYONE, think about the Timbo beats on BP1 and BP2. Those were ALL filler. “What They Gonna”, “2 Many Hoes”, and “Hola Hovito”. “The Bounce” was decent, but that was Kanye’s stage. Think about that shit.
hola hovito wasn’t filler…spot on with the rest of em tho. jay has more chemistry with pharrell, if anything the neptunes should’ve had 3 beats on bp3
i know>>>>>
Hola Hovito was an amazing track, it had the energy that these new joints are lacking – and Jay tore that beat a new arsehole too.
meh…chorus is atrocious…
ANOTHER HORRIBLE SONG!!!!!!!!! Stick with Just Blaze & NO ID & kanye West & DJ Premier-Hey One Can Dream LOL
Hov been hangin around that boy Nasir too long. Got lyricist ear and shit. AT least Nas can pick a hook when if ever he has one.
was that a joe budden diss?????????????
P always got on me for dissin Hola Hovito… And yeah, Neptunes and jigga > Dr. Dre and Jigga > Timb and Jigga.
^ Nah… I’ll help you out
Neptunes & Jigga > “Rockport” & Jigga > Dr. Dre & Jigga
I’ve been talking bad about “Rockport” as a producer lately, but respect due to many a hit Timothy Zachary Mosely has helped Jay-Z with.
BTW …
I Know = (Big Pimpin’ – UGK)
Jay + Neptunes better than Jay + Tim?
Really?
Big Pimpin’
Dirt Off Ya Shoulder
Hola Hovito
Is That Your Bitch
Nigga What Nigga Who
Hey Papi
Lobster And Scrimp
Party People
Snoopy Track
Come And Get Me
vs.
Excuse Me Miss Again (this is the only really decent Jay + Neptunes beat)
Frontin (weaksauce)
Change Clothes (!)
Give It 2 Me
You missed like 4 tracks off BP2, 1 off Kingdom Come, and 2 off American Gangster that were FIRE. You don’t really know your Jigga tracks dog. Lmao.
This song is alright. The hook is annoying, I got used to it after a couple listens though. “Smashed Elvis and his Blue Suede Shoes” made me go yeahhh cus im an avid Elvis hater lol.
This is better. But I still stand by my statement I made yesterday:
Timbo needs to retire. Pronto.
*doesn’t give a flying fuck*
*downloads and listens*
this is…Jay spittin…nice.
lolz at everyone and they mama coming out the woodwork just to assume shit they haven’t heard yet….wait until the album leaks….and then say if it’ll good enough to warrant a purchase.
that’s what I’m doing with BP 3 and OB4CL II….props those those waiting patiently and not listening to the leaks.
Ummmm…I thought there wasn’t gonna be any Autotune on this album..?
And is Jay gonna adlib “awww” on every track?
after a listen…..
don’t know what yall are on with the production…..this has a sinister-feel to it…as if Jay is pissed and letting yall know he can still spit…haha.
maybe not up to par with Timbo standards…but Ima sucker for tracks with that dark, eerie mood to it…and this one fits.
and one last thing….this track will grow on you….it’s been growing on me after repeated listens….ahh, I think I’m done with this track…..
bring on the FULL LEAK!!!
muahahaha!
Nah, I only listed the Neptunes tracks that are in any way good – if I didn’t list it, it’s because it’s dogshit.
I know the Hov back catalogue enough to know that once Pharrell and Chad get involved it’s likely to end up as a shoddy, one dimensional, smoke and mirrors Neptunes beat….
wait so Allure is dog shit…..?
comments killed hiphop
nah 1997-2007 killed HipHop.
Beat sucks and hook is reeeeeetarted, made me want to punch that girl singing the chorus in the face. His spitting was alright but why would you choose this beat? Sounds like Em when he says Reminder.
*doesn’t comment* <—don’t get it confused with “no comment”
^realises the irony.
*fails as an english major*
THESE TIMBALAND TRACKS ARE NOT TIMELESS PIECES LIKE THE ONES PRODUCED BY KANYE AND NO I.D. — HOT TODAY, LUKEWARM TOMORROW RECORDS. PERSONALLY, I FEEL LIKE IT WAS A TERRIBLE MOVE TO INCLUDE THESE RECORDS WITHIN THE SEQUENCING ON THE LP. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN BONUS TRACKS. THE SOUND IS NOT COHESIVE WITH THE ALBUM AS A WHOLE, AND BECAUSE OF THIS, BLUEPRINT 3 WILL BE SOLID, BUT IT WON’T RIDE OUT. HOV HAD IT RIGHT INITIALLY, HAVE YE AND I.D. DO 9 – 12 TRACKS, AND CALL IT DAY — CERTIFIED CLASSIC ALBUM. THE REST OF THESE SONGS COULD’VE BEEN OFFERED UP AS BONUS TRACKS, A BONUS EP/2ND DISC EVEN. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE LOGIC. SWIZZ AND TIMBO’S RECORDS WILL NOT BLEND WITH THE ALBUM. THEY NEVER DO. Hip-Hop today is so depressing…..somebody save us….
