Take a look at the movie Fade To Black. When Kanye is in the studio with Jay, he has the beat ready… he has the rhymes scheme and melody already set, and like half of the hook. “Rockport” doesn’t do that anymore. He’s getting lazy.
Well its ok. I think he has surreal hype going right now. I think next time around, like 1 year from now. Jay just needs to drop an album with no hype, or singles, just a release date. Being a huge fan of both Timbaland and Jay I’ve got to say this is a massive disappointment. Where’s the trademark Timbaland neck snapping beat? The nasty synths? It’s a bit of a non-event.

I don’t even wan to talk about this song. One thing I really liked about American Ganster is how it flowed well and how it sounded nice put together as a whole. So far out of the 3 tracks we have they all sound way different, kind of scares me. I never really enjoyed the album that had different songs aimed at different markets, cohesive projects make for classic records. I didnt hype this album up as much as some did but…..we can only hope for the best
