Before you say anything, I already know this footage has been out for two weeks. That still doesn’t make it any less comical. While his musical projects may not receive the highest of accolades, I can always rest assure that Rell will come through with an amazing interview. One packed with quotable after quotable…after quotable. While on the block preparing to ‘put one in the air’, the Top Gunnas front man seemed rather enthusiastic to speaking on everything from his label situation to Jim Jones even to the “rookie class” of 2009.

Oh no, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Here’s a sample of what was said…with a little bit of commentary to spice it up.

1. “When I get back on the scene, niggas get shot. Somebody might get stabbed. It’s beef. Nah’m sayin’?” — What? You kiddin’? Hell yeah I do, Ruger. You heard the man. Step your security game up.

2. “I mean, cause WE ALL KNOW Jim fucked the ‘Set up.” — Damnit, Jimmy. All this because you went on stage with 50? Looking back on it homie, was it really worth it?

3. “I got the gangstas with me. I got the ladies with me.” — Uhhhh, yeah. No disrespect to Rell because I was a huge fan of his in ’05-’06, but I don’t think I could ever remember a time when I heard a female saying she liked his music. I could be wrong though.

I didn’t want to spoil the entire interview, so I left the part out with Ruger inventing a new word on purpose. It’s one of those things you have to hear on your own. And even when you do, it just doesn’t seem real. Regardless, at the end of the day, Hell Rell firmly plants himself as the third funniest man in Hip-Hop behind Cam and 50.
