I think this mix is from 2006 but who cares because it’s still good enough to make your ball your fists up. That’s right, good fight music is never outdated, especially not the sounds of the Mash Out duo. And DJ Eleven does a mix he puts his foot in it.
Actually, I spotted this @ HHC and they’ve got up a short interview with Eleven.
What’s the most violence-inducing moment on the mixtape?
“The mix into ‘Cold As Ice’ just made me throw a bar stool through a wall. Guess that’s the winner!”
Take your arse over there to read the rest.

Sorry… that MOP got in to me.
Even after that U Don’t KNow remix, that Jay-z didn’t see enuff promise in these cats to merit an official Roc release is another reason I continue to question Carter’s leadership as a label exec.
BP3′s. rs shut down their link yesterday. anyone holdin’?
No BP3, but I always thought Kaotic Style would have more longevity than M.O.P. but how wrong I was:-

Premo always comes through for the Mash Out Posse, but do not front on the productions that Laze E. Laze, Fizzy Womack himself, and Divine Ruler Period came through with…never thought he got enough shine.
Man when Teef hears the Best of MOP; he will kill more than just kittens. lol
Best piece of M.O.P. production came courtesy of Big Jaz-O……….World Famous!
@Suave, you got that DJ Premier remix of Brooklyn Jersey (Get Wild) you know the track with Treach, with the horns going weh weh weh wehhhh, weh, weh, weh, weh!
Man I used to love Relativity Records and Big Beat Records, usually if I saw a CD bearing these record label logos I’d buy it, regardless of whether I heard of the artist or not. That’s how I discovered Down South Blak Czer, impulse purchases.
@Paw,
Nah I am not holding that one, if I run across it, I will post it mayne.
Chuck Norris listens to M.O.P.
This mix is the shit. Now I just need a cup of Red Bull, then I’ll be set for the rest of the day.
Relativity’s name doesn’t get mentioned but I do agree that they always had good albums releasing.

FFFFIIIIIIYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
M.O.P. is the world’s greatest fight music… I was such an idiot for sleeping on them for so long… Face Off 2k1 might be my favorite track from them ever and in my top 20 for anybody’s music… Billy Danze gives one of his craziest, most heartfelt verses ever, “As I struggle to get my hands on a dollar today, I think back about cats that have passed away. That’s why I feel more cursed than blessed. And I wonder what in this world, more worse than stress? I’m a mess with stress, though I present it with finesse. Sometimes I feel as if my heart is coming out my chest”, and then Fizzy comes in with lines like, “We came into the game with some change for train fare, 2 phillies, a dime bag and a 40oz of beer…” and then later, “Ya’ll nigg*s keep waiting til they pop Fame, and hold ya breath while you wait bitch, I got game. Nigg*s aint feelin the Fame, bitch, stop dreaming, I’m the shit that felt good comin out with my pop’s semen…”
The craziest shit ever though is watching the How About Some Hardcore video and realizing that if Billy Danze never gained all that weight, he could’ve been DMX before DMX was DMX. I still remember seeing that video and then not hearin about em for a lil bit (like I said I wasn’t a big fan at first), then seeing a new video from them and wondering where that one skinny guy in the group went…
Whenever I listen to MOP, I always feel like there should be saliva all over my earphones from them yelling.
WORLD FAMOUS!!
M.O.P. makes me wanna punch people in their face just for livin’.
A great, great hip-hop group.
Now scuse me whilst I kick this senior citizen down a flight of steps.
