This one appeared in the inbox with the message “Hey man, here’s the first bit of audio from this record. If you’re feeling this one, it’s a good bet you’ll like the album.”

From there, I was mixed emotions & expectations because if I had a quarter for every email that promised me golden audio, I’d be a rich man. But I’ll be damned if Tame One didn’t catch wreck over producer Parallel Thoughts’ dirty beat.

“Decided early on, before Marshall was blonde, that I would get on and merck any rapper I set it on…Dude, you get boo’ed saying grace over food.”

It’s not that Del didn’t come with it; it’s moreso the fact that “Tame Weezy” did everything lyrically possible to remind you that he was once a pretty fierce emcee.
