Dear Asics,
I would humbly like to petition you to include TSS in your next Trilogy Pack and give us our own Gel Lyte III’s. Or at least me as I obviously have an affection for them. I’ve already told someone of my desire for this to happen & I will cop the majority of the size 13′s that you manufacture.
Moving forward, there was a pic of this last week, but here’s a time-lapse video displaying the building process of the Gel Lyte III Lite Brite. It’s touring the country right now, dazzling the eyes of hypebeasts everywhere.
The only thing that could make this Lite Brite more badass is if they could get the lights to flicker & music in the background, word to the Budweiser commercial of a few years ago.

I think Asics has been kickin ass w/the stuff they’ve done design-wise.
They’ve come a long way from the “Asics basics” days circa 2000-2001, when the designs were so weak and generic that it inspired myself and a couple of friends to cop a few pairs on the cheap for the purposes of making an “Asics basics” basketball mixtape similar to the And-1 tapes that were popular at the time. But, instead of doing the flashy streetball And-1 shit, we kept it basics in Asics. Nothing but chest passes, well executed bounce passes, using proper form of course, mid-range jumpers, free-throws, textbook lay-ups, etc.
Yea, we were on some dumb shit in HS, lol. I wonder if my guy still has that tape.

I’m with Gotty; Asics has been dropping some enticing designs & colours lately. I’m going to check my connect for those blueberry joints.
ps: Got the Jordan III True Blues on deck!!! Only $260, a little pricey but worth the sacrifice damn it!!! LOL.

Besides the color combos & choices, I like how Asics has been placing their colors (whattup Ronnie!). They’ve taken black on the Blueberrys and the blue yellow & teals, done the same basic things w/a few minor twists…and I couldn’t pass on either. That’s when you’re doing something right in my book: when you make a basic shoe irresistible. Not to mention I’m on a runners kick right now b/c the comfort is A1 as well.
