Young Dro & Yung LA - “Don’t Know Y’all”
AUDIO By TC on July 10, 2009 at 7:39 pm
I think I’m gonna have to side with DJ Burn One and say LA has influenced Dro for the worst. While it’s a shame half the population so easily forgot this, or this…or even this, you still have to keep the ball moving up court opposed to running in place. And that’s why Dro’s momentum has been stalling out as of late. Too much focus on making people dance.
Just rhyme homey. In that colorful, Tropicana fruit cocktail flow no one else has patented yet.

Sad to say, that “On Fire” joint that dropped awhile back was….pretty garbage….
I think the first bar was
“I’m hot goddamn, brown Trans-Am”
That beat is ass.

Burn One is the mixtape DJ that did Dro’s first mixtape (Still Got That Dro) that introduced him to the masses before the powers that be that he works with deemed him “worthy” enough of having a Gangsta Grillz. He also did Big Kuntry King’s Cocaine mixtape.
Think of him and Scream as the cats that do tapes and actually help build their buzz and fanbase before they make it to the Yankees (Drama, Lantern, Skee, etc)
“…Colourful Tropicana Fruit…”
That describes the gentlemen in this picture perfectly.
…and since when did Nazi headgear become de rigeur in hip-hop - the world’s turning to shit and it’s all Taz Arnold’s fault.
Burn One’s tape w/Kuntry was what turned me to his music.
some random non hip hop….

Nall ya’ll can keep that On Fire shit….
Give me that “Jackie Chan” shit
What up Veego?..How many beers you drink today?
I had 4 at work today as well as a bunch of wine…Feelin’ just fine.
that song dro rock diamonds is my shit…
Anybody got that Best Thang Smokin?
I like it when it’s presented as Dro’s supporting L.A. on L.A.’s shit. it thoroughly boosts the listenability of L.A.’s vibe, & they got a cool lil energy they building…
but as far as Dro’s stuff by his self, — if that “Fuuuuturistiiiiic”-ness leaks in where it ain’t supposed to, — it can thoroughly fuck off my enjoyment.
Dro really gotta keep them separated in they separate lanes, it’ll keep both lanes more viable, & retain his artistic style as his.
