Respect to P.
This shirt was years in the making, both literally & figuratively.
After we did the previous run of white RMF tees*, I challenged P. “Let’s make another one!” We went back & forth, exchanging ideas for the screens, fonts, colors, yada ya. We finalized it…then nothing.
That was two years ago.
We finally got around to completing this one & getting it printed. Really, I think it’s safe to make that “proudly printed.”
Over the course of this thing of ours, P’s fought the good fight right beside me, longer than anyone else currently around. We’ve fought & disagreed. Dreamed & considered. Then had to reconsider sometimes. But whatever shit I’ve managed to conjure up, P’s found a way to make it real.
So the front of the shirt, that’s for all of us because at this point every visitor makes up part of The Crew. Respect to everybody who’s copped one of these or anything with the TSS logo. Your support is appreciated.
But the back of that shirt? That’s for P.

Actually I remember my dad buying it on CD when they used to come in the big ass cases much like the PS One games.
I found my Jacksons Victory cassette over the wkend.

Like, wow, you got the new Michael Jackson! Dub me a copy on your double decker tape deck, you’d do that on high speed dubbing to since they wanted it like in an hour or so.
@TC, on CD, woh! So you all got that bonus track ‘Leave Me Alone’ which we didn’t get on the cassette version. :)

@TC, nope Leave Me Alone is not the tape, pretty certain it was on the CD release only.
Dolby B ‘NR’ to reduce the hiss noise, plus the constant rewinding and forwarding just so that I could listen to ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ over and over again, before you knew it the head mechanism on the stereo was chewing up the reel of the tape. Arrrgggh! Then you’d have to manually spool back the reel into the tape using a pencil.
I know this for a fact, BAD was meant to be a triple CD release, in actual fact Michael Jackson had recorded that much worth of material primarily as a rough draft. But Quincy Jones just wanted a lean set, filler free, and in the end we got the one CD version.
I don’t know if the other tracks had proper mixed down beats, but I think we will get to hear them along with the other stuff from the vaults in the not so distant future.
I also wonder how BAD would have sounded if the proposed duet with Prince came to fruition.
