Three/21 Media & The Kickdrums - Inside A Change Mixtape

Like Gotty™ alluded to Music Inspired By A Motion Picture has a nice ring to it. Especially when you step back and look at the amount of work Mr. Cordero has put in over the over the last 5 years. The first video I remember of his is Joell’s “Brooklyn Bullshit,” and even then you knew he wasn’t your average video director. He always managed to make the image correlate with the lyrics or core essence of the song. So to see the music accompanying his own body of work is good to see.

Good look, MZ.
Related: If I’m not mistaken, Rik Cordero is making an appearance at Tommy Thai’s in Springfield, VA for my boy’s mixtape release party on August 8th. DMV residents should definitely check it out.
Matok (the producer and my friend) let me preview the whole mixtape and I was mighty impressed (and I’m not just saying that).
“Straight to the DVD sale rack”

If that’s the case, what’s so wrong with that? I think we’ve learned this year that distribution method doesn’t cheapen the product.
dnt have nothing to do wit this but im sendin out a opinion on a article follow weed rolller for fabolous paul cain deserves the blunt roller award because he is better then spliff starr an tony yayo by leaps an bounds jus felt like pointing that out
Rik Cordero is a go to guy who’s become popular for his ability to produce music videos on the cheap - the now financially struggling record companies need someone like this to make visuals for the internet, hence his popularity…So far everything about this dudes reputation says ‘budget’, so realistically does that bode well for a feature length production?
Now, I didn’t want to prejudge this effort, because to be fair he can make a half decent looking video and maybe he has some until now hidden ability to produce something really special - but then I checked out the trailer…fuck me it looks like the most generic hood movie ever, shit acting, cheap looking digital pictures…It makes Master P look like Martin Scorsese.
My name on one of my favorite hip hop sites = dope.
