I don’t know about you guys, but the week after a holiday always feel like a holiday… regardless of whether you drink or not.  Things move at a snails pace at the workplace as people get their bearings straight again.  Same thing thing applies to the blogosphere.

So sit back, relax and catch up…

The unexpected death of Steve McNair didn’t make the start of the week any easier, especially since we were still dealing with the loss MJ. So much to the effect that Obama’s maneuverings overseas were second page news.

In regards of new albums, both dead prez & Maino (to the chagrin of some) received high marks with 4 cigs each. Meanwhile Blaq Poet fell a little short and had to settle for 3 cancer sticks & Willy Northpole fared even worse.  We were there when the bells were rocked in K-Town and shone a brief spotlight on Roger Federer as he cemented his place in the history books.

Inspectah Deck created a splash with Joe Budden diss… but for the wrong reasons.  Meanwhile, Battlefield 1943 + contest = commenter’s coming out the woodwork.  Playboy Tre checked in from the Norway Shore.  We presented our 2009 Summer Style Guide, better late than never right?  We also caught up with The Wire’s Snoop for a good 15 minutes.  And to finish things off Solange came to the defense of her big sis via Twitter.
