The Beastie Boys Feat. Nas - “Too Many Rappers”
AUDIO By Gotty™ on July 19, 2009 at 7:41 pmInteresting pairing here as we get Nasty Nas linked with the Beastie Boys. Odd but effective.
“That Nas + Beastie shit is some unabashed old man rap. I love it.” — Deen
Indeed and it’s a good thing too. “Too Many…” is the first single off their upcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee, which drops on 9.15.

Nasty Nas is the illest, good track but sounds like its ripped from a live performance….or maybe they are just going for an unpolished sound.
beastie boys known to let the beat…..MMMMMMDROP!!!
@Snidely
That is their (Beastie Boys) signature studio sound. They always record as if they are in a cypher passing the mic back and forth.
Thus the “live performance” feel and sound.
Getting quoted may be the best thing that’s happened to me all summer. No lie.
grandpa been rappin since 83, wow thats as long as ive been alive. you gotta love these dudes and their strange yet legendary place in hip hop. damn good track. they mustve all written it together. a rarity in our time of phoned in emailed 16 bar verses.
ehhh…i feel like most are just saying they dig this track because who’s on it…all legends, but this track is fucking garbage.
This is classic Beastie Boys with Nas joining the fun…if you dont like the Beastie Boys then you wont like this one…Since I do its pretty DOPE!!!
Hot Sauce Committee (No Homo)
NaS’s verses are some of his best recent. He could’ve spit that first verse on Cuban Lynx 2 over a classic beat, — I would have flipped the fuck out!
but as it’s on this beat & this style, it’s cool. prolly ain’t gon bump it ever, don’t have much need for the grandpa-voiced version of Beastie Boys, but damn, NaS came off.
