If you ever sat back watching The Cosby Show on Nick at Nite and fantasized about the Huxtable residence’s sexual activity behind closed doors, chances are you’re a tad bit perverted. And suffice to say, you’re probably not alone. Taking on the reproaching task of catering to your Cosby cravings, X-Play, the creators of the award-winning Sitcums (Get it? For fuck’s sake we’re gonna pretend you do) such as NOT Bewitched XXX and NOT The Bradys XXX: Marcia! Marcia! Marcia!, brandishes a porn comedy most of the Hip-Hop community could identify with: NOT The Cosby Show XXX.

Now as a family oriented show, meaning the bulk of the characters are related, NTC’s script tends to dive off the deep end from time to time, mainly because the thought of any of the Cosby clan probing each other would be unfathomable. Such randomness includes a dorm room orgy which trumps the amount of Caucasians seen in any of the actual show’s eight seasons by 60% percent. For added effect, a bogus studio audience laughs at nearly every conversation and producers Jeff Mullen and Rock Hardson (…) do an exceptional job at parodying the jazzy score that accompanied the original series.
Vanessa & Cockroach play spin-the-bottle for more than kisses
Despite the elaborate displays of T&A, Thomas Ward, who along with Nina Devon, the “actress” who plays Rudy Huxtable as the only cast members NOT engaging in any debauchery (sorry cradle robbers!), ultimately steals the show. Not only is he the only actor who remotely resembles the original character’s likeness, but his vocal impressions and quirky facial expressions are almost spot on.
What’s for dinner Mrs. Huxtable?
The comedy, whether intentional or unintentional (see Cockroach’s attire) remains the highlight throughout and surprisingly forces the splashes of smut to take the back seat. If you’re looking to get your Jell-O® jollies off, NOT The Cosby Show XXX does have a few of the ingredients but this dish is probably best served for comedic purposes in a room for lighthearted, mature audiences.
