“Stating The Facts”

As a native of Jersey it really pains me to see so few artists make it out of my home state. Our contributions to mainstream Hip-Hop have come few and far between since 2000 save for Just Blaze, Redman, Joe Budden and Rodney Jerkins when he’s not doing R&B. Then this dude named Mo0 pops up out of nowhere and gives me hope. The peculiarly named MC sounds like a mix of Mikey Rocks and Wale on the mic, which isn’t a bad thing. Plus I see some of Ye’s influence in his flow.
He resides in the now congested everyman rapper lane who rhymes about how great he is, being yourself, bagging girls and the like. Even with that in mind I see his potential to make moves on some blogs by years end with some hard work. Besides, he already sounds distinct from the legions of internet jersey rappers spittin’ about slanging, guns and the usual malarkey.
The mixing could use work and the beat isn’t anything spectacular. Ultimately the track serves as an appetizer to his debut album Garden State of Mind dropping this fall. In the meantime give “Stating The Facts” a shot.

You couldnt make this guy sound more “blah” if you tried
I am just stating the facts…….He will run out of punch lines eventually…so he better find a new flow or his tracks will be more played than a drake song! ( not in a good way)
Too many iller NJ emcees to name…and he sound southern at times…thats so un-jersey.
It’s not bad. I’ve heard better on the corners back in Jersey but I’ll give his debut a listen off gp in hopes.

I’m just stating the facts, I see him going somewhere with the right people behind him and losing that term ‘internet rapper’ in a year or so I see him in the right direction of being in the mist of talented artist, at least I hope so jersey needs something I mean how long have people waited on joe budden..
