Memphis Bleek & DJ Suss One - Signed & Sealed Mixtape
MUSIC By TC on July 11, 2009 at 2:36 pm
Memphis Bleek has been steady putting in work this year and you ingrates just don’t give a damn. No worries on his end; we all remember Jigga’s “As long as I’m alive Bleek’s a millionaire” line from Late Registration. For those appreciative of his efforts to keep the Roc’s name ringing (and not just on some damn Barbie dolls,) here’s his latest mixtape with DJ Suss One, Signed & Sealed.

Jay’s personal umbrella holder actually raps?
as long as i’m alive, m.bleek will be a millllionnnnaire ! (c) Hov !
let we see if bleek jumps on the new game’s beef …
roc 4 life, get low !
Memph is pretty nice on the mic. He just had the pressure of havin Hov name him as his successor. And he never was quite that good.
Yeah, we can laugh at dude but he’s set for life. Plenty ninjaz in the game would kill to be in his position.
stop fronting cuz the only reason we seeing this post is cuz its a slow day…
lol @ Greums tombout Bleek jumping on Game’s beef

Hmm…partially true. But I may be one of the few who still listens to Bleek & thinks his albums were good. Just not great.
The Understanding was a hot album. Well, then again, I was just in 12th grade. But it still knocked hard in my 92 Accord Coupe. MADE was fresh too. I was in Brooklyn visiting some family when the video for Round Here first hit the streets (did records leak back then?). It didn’t hit Florida till like a good two months later. Seems like it was blasting 24/7 for a while.
He’s not my favorite. But as many have been saying, dude was good. Consistent even. Well that is until Jigga blessed the world with that rhyme, and I quote “…And even if I die he’s in my will somewhere.” Dude ain’t dropped an album since.
By the way, Get Low is his label right?
The tape only came out yesterday… & best believe I got it. I like him though.
I was just listening to “Diamonds..” yesterday. Jay’s verse is impressive & fresh even in hindsight.
“Understand Me Still” “They Don’t Know” the “First Last Only” with MOP…he’s got his share of good songs.
I was raised if I can’t say anything nice; don’t say anything at all.
*Silence*
lol

MZ you are 100% correct; who was I trying to fool. Suss one is a dope dj. I understand that jay-z money is good money; but why did he waste his time with bleek. The only difference between bleek and bow wow is that bleek has went through puberty. lol
