Has Luda ever taken a lyrical L? I don’t think he ever actually confirmed who “War With God” was directed @, but Chris Bridges give someone (or maybe several someones) a verbal beatdown.

“Has Luda ever taken a lyrical L?”
It’s rare like a BITCH.
Correct me if I’m wrong but he bodied T.I. a couple of times right lol? Because we all remember “Stomp,” right?
Who else?
In spite of myself & never really getting into his catalog that heavily, I have to honestly say that if I were to do an album, I’d have to get Luda to do featured verse. Because for me, Luda > Busta in terms of features.
Between features & first songs on each albums, is there anybody who’s better than dude?
YES! on his first major release through Def Jam his nigga 4 Ize broke Luda down to his brake pads on the “Freestyle” joint. the one who spit the “niggas wanna clown, i’m Homie AND Bozo”. Ludas verse was completely sub par to dudes. His second album they did the same type of record but Luda made sure he didn’t get faded twice. That’s the only time I remember.
love this joint…
luda always holds his own… but i don’t think i took him seriously until nas’s “made you look” remix… and i know i always fast forward to his guest appearance on speakerboxxx talking about weed crumbs under his cuticles… never took an l i can remember…
Looking for…
Black Rob – B.L.A.C.K. (Original version)
Black Rob – Time To Ride or DJ Kay Slay – Let The Games Begin
Gotty find that track off his first album, I’m telling you Luda took an L
Phil – I see that but you can pretty much assume that this was directed @ TI. Add that with his verse on “Stomp” and man…put it this way, I’m a diehard TI fan…but had to put down my little rah-rah pennant flag & “Number 1″ finger thing and walk away dejected like “damn, he bodied my team” lmao. TI’s only bested Shawty and Flip (and that was more by sheer relentlessness & attacks than murdering him w/one verse/song).
TheCo!!inB – yeah, but we’re talking one guest verse from a person nobody’s heard from since so…lol. you know what I mean?
I think TheCo!!inB might be talking about the freestyle on Back for the First Time called “Mouthing Off” ft. 4ize. That is the one time i can really say i didn’t listen to one of Luda’s songs for HIS verse, it sounded like it was too easy or he stopped before he really got into it….. 4ize killed it tho and sounded like he was having a damn good time doing it too…

But that Stomp shit wasn’t fair. They got Luda to drop his 16 after ‘Cris had heard Tip’s verse.
And Luda > Busta?
I’ve gotta respectfully disagree. Luda is thorough as a guest MC but there’s a level of predictability with him as a rapper. You know he’s gonna deliver a decent verse but you’re not neccessarily excited that Luda is on the track. Busta brings that level of excitemen/energy and then some…or at least he used to.
Can’t front on Luda’s track record though. Ciara, Jaime Foxx, Fergie…dude helped sell alotta records. But there’s something so safe about dude, compared to how he was when he first came in the game. Would Chris Bridges make “Ho” today? Not likely.

original sample: “war of the gods” by Billy Paul is pretty dope.
solid song choice on the Luda as well.
I’m sorry Amp. But I will have to disagree with you sire. Luda > Busta, predictability or not. I just happen to think that the former sounds better on other people’s tracks than his own; and that the latter always comes correct on his projects.
Has Luda ever taken a lyrical L?
==========================================================
No, he has not. I’ve noticed that as far as beef in hip-hop goes, I can’t really recall a lot of people being stupid enough to call him out on a track.

I see the logic in that but truthfully, I haven’t been really excited about a Luda album since Chicken & Beer. At least I know Busta’s gonna try to push the envelope. It feels like Luda plays it real safe 90% of the time.

But he’s not one of those MC’s that attracts that kind of attention. Cats take shots at the top dog.
Luda’s still trying to get respected as such.
I respect dude for getting what he’s gotten out of the game, but he’s not topping any Best MC lists.
an underrated emcee
rich very good rapper
Luda > Busta as far as features go. I don’t even think it’s that close either.
Yet and still, Luda did hear Tip’s verse before he laid his down. His verse was still crazy although it was like the last 4-6 bars that made the entire verse so legendary.
Luda’s intros on his albums are almost always fire
i remember the first time this track came out it had two verses…. then on release day there was a third verse where he continued to rip it………..
You all seen the footage from Comic Con for TRON Legacy? Mind blowingly awesome!

Knock it off.
Busta has classic features, from “Flava In Your Ear” remix to the “Ante Up” remix to “Victory” with Diddy to “Da Goodness” with Redman to “Scenario” and it’s remix to…well, you get my point.
Busta “had” classic features lol.
Sorry, he’s one of those cats who never won me over completely. Neither has Luda to be honest. But for the last half decade at least, he’s been the go-to-guy for a feature.
Longest & most consistent over a period of time?
Bun B
Yeah I said it.

lol I can’t even dispute that.
cosigned, luda > most other rappers when it comes to guest spots. that said, he’s kind of weak on his own.
Bun’s had a couple of boogers in there, but you have to put some of the blame on him seemingly never turning down a feature. Overall though, you’re not losing w/a Bun feature.
Bun, Bus and Luda
top three hottest remixer
still dope as special guest !
I interviewed Luda for Ozone around the time this song came out. He said he was talking to himself…hey, thats what he told me man.
rare like a free Prostitute !
Ali vegas’ song wit the same sample was dope too !
produced by Get Large was dope. but Luda killed it, nevertheless.
i think that the sample was “jacked” ; even if it’s legal but u see what i mean by that. holla @ Get Large production thus before
“laisssssssssssssssssser faire, ohhh laisser faiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiire !”
