While LL has certainly lost a step lyrically, you can’t hate the man for being on the wrong side of 40 and still dropping science. The beat behind “Raise It Up” bangs and LL unexpectedly has caught me off guard with this. I’ve never been one to fuck much with him beyond his most recognized tracks but he manages to show that his lyrical prowess is still intact so I respect that.
My anti-LL’ness* stems from the fact I could always do with more shirt and less sweat everytime I see him. Just rap homie, and please, quit lickin your lips! Those muscles and the rest of your innuendo has yet to grab me (||).

Well, I wasn’t going to check this out earlier…but since you gave it a stamp, it can’t hurt.
I’ve been a fan off LL Cool J since the days of Wildcats and Radio, heck, he even did his thing in Halloween H20 and he knows how to cold rock the spot when it comes to live shows.

Is this new? I think I heard him shout out Def Jam at the beginning.
It’s new as in it hit today. When he recorded it is another thing.
His ability to spit bars is still there, beyond that I can;t say LL was ever a super lyrical cat.

LL’s career shouldve ended after Canibus shredded his shit. Canibus won the beef but LL stayed relevant somehow. Can anybody explain that?

we all know canibus is a clown who could never get production but his diss tracks were better than LLs.
